Environmentally Conscious For the Future

Barsotti’s Body & Fender has a rigorous environmental business plan which includes a comprehensive water conservation program, a recycling program, and repair operating procedures to help achieve our goals.

Although the state guidelines do not require shops in our area to switch to waterborne paint until 2010, we introduced DuPont Cromax waterborne paint into our store in 2008. Since that introduction we have also introduced a second waterborne paint line Spies Hecker Permahyd. These paint lines not only comply with lower VOC regulations they also require less coats of paint then the solvent-based lines.

Our commitment to the environment does not stop there; our detail department utilizes a complete line of biodegradable washes and cleaners.

We recycle aluminum, metal, urethane bumpers, cardboard, filler dust, batteries, tires, oil, coolant, brake fluid, lacquer thinner, paint byproducts, toners, and office paper.
