How we minimize waste
We didn't wait for regulations - Barsotti's Body and Fender introduced DuPont Cromax waterborne paint in 2008. That's two years before California required it! Today, our entire paint process utilizes waterborne paint products. These eco-friendly paints reduce harmful VOC emissions and require fewer coats than traditional solvent-based alternatives. This has helped us achieve the status of a low hazardous waste generator.
Our detail department exclusively uses biodegradable washes and cleaners, protecting both your vehicle and the environment.
We recycle extensively to minimize waste, including materials like aluminum, steel, brake fluid, tires, and more. Our green practices aren't just about compliance—they reflect our commitment to protecting the Bay Area environment for future generations.
